چکیده
This paper documents the TIGER 700 RMRS Treebank which has been obtained as the result of a software project. The treebank is a semantic projection from a subset of the TIGER Dependency Bank and was derived automatically, using treebank conversion methods. In a second phase, it will be manually validated and corrections will be made as necessary, supported by an interactive editing tool.

The TIGER 700 RMRS Bank: RMRS Construction from Dependencies
We present a treebank conversion method by which we construct an RMRS bank for HPSG parser evaluation from the TIGER Dependency Bank. Our method effectively performs automatic RMRS semantics construction from functional dependencies, following the semantic algebra of (Copestake et al., 2001). We present the semantics construction mechanism, and focus on some special phenomena. Automatic convers...
متن کاملTiger: Continuous Diagnosis of Gas Turbines
The TIGER system is in continuous use on 20 gas turbines across four continents. Continuously performing fault diagnosis of industrial gas turbines used for power generation. TIGER receives several hundred data inputs at a once per second interval and performs several layers of fault detection and diagnosis using expert system techniques in a temporal reasoning rulebase. Development of the syst...
متن کاملTreebank-Based Acquisition of Multilingual Unification Grammar Resources
Deep unification(constraint-)based grammars are usually hand-crafted. Scaling such grammars from fragments to unrestricted text is time-consuming and expensive. This problem can be exacerbated in multilingual broad-coverage grammar development scenarios. Cahill et al. (2002, 2004) and O’Donovan et al. (2004) present an automatic f-structure annotation-based methodology to acquire broad-coverage...
متن کاملE-region decameter-scale plasma waves observed by the dual TIGER HF radars
The dual Tasman International Geospace Environment Radar (TIGER) HF radars regularly observe E-region echoes at sub-auroral magnetic latitudes 58–60 S including during geomagnetic storms. We present a statistical analysis of E-region backscatter observed in a period of∼2 years (late 2004–2006) by the TIGER Bruny Island and Unwin HF radars, with particular emphasis on storm-time backscatter. It ...
